The Value of Doing Nothing

Life moves pretty fast these days, doesn’t it?  In our effort to have it all, be the best, go the extra mile, we sometimes race through our days without appreciating the journey.

Classic-Winnie-the-Pooh-winnie-the-pooh-825510_176_190Today, I’m thinking about how to slow down that pace and I found a perfect quote to remind me:

Don’t underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can’t hear, and not bothering.

~ Winnie the Pooh

What quotes have inspired you lately?  I’d love to have you share in the comments.

  • My post today was on a very similar topic. Sometimes it is better to do nothing when opening your mouth could make the problem worse!

I I am also reminded of the quote about someone thinking you a fool and then opening your mouth and confirming their suspicions. 🙂
