Do you find yourself responsible for being tasked to build a stronger employer brand?
Are you looking at your talent strategy, or creating one, and thinking you need direction in creative ways to attract talent?
Is retention an issue keeping you up at night and you want support and guidance on how to address it?
Then Talent Net Live is where you need to be. Talent Net Live is an event created by Craig Fisher (@Fishdogs) dedicated to inspire recruiters and companies to create better employer brands and recruitment strategies through social media—giving them the resources and confidence needed to source, attract, engage, and retain more of the best candidates and talent to move their business forward.
I’ve had the pleasure of speaking at several past Talent Net Live events and I can tell you that each time I do, I also hear some of the most innovative speakers in the recruiting and HR community. The upcoming event details are:
March 9, 2012 in Austin, TX
Iron Cactus
606 Trinity Street
Ticket prices are $60- $80, so there is no reason not to come for a day of learning. You can register today on the Talent Net Live website.
For those of you who can’t attend this time but want to learn more, here are some ways to follow TNL virtually:
Twitter: The most important thing to do is search “TNL” either via Twitter or on another Twitter-based platform such as Hootsuite or Tweetdeck. By creating this search, you will see all that is being shared including quotes from sessions, video links, book mentions and more.
You can also follow me (@TrishMcFarlane) and look for related tweets on March 9th.
FaceBook: Be sure to “Like” the FaceBook fan page for Talent Net Live. There you’ll find updated blog post links about the event and be able to see pictures taken on site.
Blogs: Join in the discussion or the controversy! There will be several bloggers at the event. Follow their blogs the day of the event and in the days following in order to get more of the behind-the-scenes details. Here is a sample to get you started:
Google+: The newest of the platforms will also offer a unique new way to experience conferences in the future. You’ll be able to set up a circle of friends or people you know who are attending. If you don’t personally know anyone, you can follow the TNL founder, CraigFisher, and many of the speakers.
I encourage you to attend Talent Net Live if you can. If not, follow virtually and contribute to the conversation!
