For the past two days, I have been participating at the Senior HR Executive Conference hosted by The Conference Board. This conference is viewed in the HR community as one of the top conferences for HR executives to attend. The speakers are some of the brightest HR leaders from top companies in the US (Humana, Inc., General Electric Corporation, , The Boeing Company, PwC, Xerox, Corning, and Unilever, to name a few) and the content is top notch.

Work/Life Blend: Leader’s Series
Today is a special post on work/life blend by Leanne Chase. Leanne is the founder of Career Life Connection, a business dedicated to connecting employers and potential employees in discussions about flexibility. It also provides a platform for employers to post jobs where flexibility is valued and for job seekers to find a job that has the type of flexibility that will work with their life. These employers understand that a more flexible work environment can lead to employees who are more fulfilled, loyal, and productive.
Yammer Follow Up Post

Einstein Bros. Bagels: Exemplary Client Service
I have an idea of what makes good client service and it isn’t a “Top 10″ list or even a “Top 5″. It’s one thing….
Give more attention and care to the person you’re serving than he or she ever expects to receive.
That is my silver bullet.
