Top 10With only three (yes, 3!) weeks until the HRevolution takes Louisville, KY by storm, I thought it would be fun to share the top ten reasons to attend.  They are:

10.  Because all the cool kids are doing it!

  9.  You can’t bear the thought of sitting through another boring traditional conference presentation.

  8.  You’ve never been to Louisville, KY- home of the Kentucky Derby, Maker’s Mark Distillery, and Louisville Slugger factory.

  7.  You’re tired of just reading blogs and want to start your own but don’t know how.

  6.  You’ want to get in on the live HR Happy Hour show.

  5.  You’ve clawed your way out of  “cubicle land” and want to talk about the future of HR.

  4.  You want to see Ben Eubanks of Upstart HR chug a whole  2 liter bottle of Diet Mountain Dew.

  3.  You’ve never had The Hot Brown and it’s high time you did!

  2.  Why not?  You don’t have anything else planned that weekend.

And the number one reason to attend HRevolution…..

  1.  You want to learn, share, collaborate, and network with the most innovative people in today’s HR community.  Seriously.

Please visit the HRevolution registration site to sign up today.  For more information on the un-conference, go to the HRevolution site.

See you in Louisville!!!!

  • Great list of reasons! I hope that we can really reach some more HR professionals that may be new to the blog, social media space as well. I look forward to seeing and meeting everyone in Louisville!

  • Thanks for volunteering me for drinking the Dew. I might actually be able to do that. 🙂 Or at least drink one throughout the day to prove my love for the neon blood that pumps through my veins. 🙂

I was putting together a top 10 list this morning, so you post was timely. Although mine’s on zombies, which have little to do with HRev. 😀 Have a wonderful Sunday!

  • Great list Trish. I can also add that the Seelbach is an awesome hotel. We stayed there several times when traveling to Louisville for theatre and music that you couldn’t find in certain other parts of Kentucky.
Staying there might be just the way to convince Mrs. Tim that this would be a great trip to take.

  • @Tim- So glad you commented since you’ve stayed at the Seelbach Hilton. Online, it looks gorgeous. We have Crystal Peterson as our “eyes, ears, arms, and legs’ on the ground and she recommended it. I am SO excited to go and even more excited that you may come too. Definitely convince your wife it would be a great trip for you both!!

  • As important as indoctrinating newbies to social networking is to strategize how this group of early adopters and innovators can spread the word and keep the buzzing going about how social networking is the perfect tech platform for HR to generate teamwork and collaboration.

Oh and I’m game for a Hot Brown. That bacon looked mouth watering! Great post.
