@Steve- First, LOVE the picture.  You&#039;re right about stepping back to spot trends, roadblocks, etc.  It&#039;s just so easy to fall into that short term view of the world when you&#039;re trying to put out fires.  Your tips are good ones.</description>

Only then can you make the best choices on questions like process automation, outsourcing, or creating new communication or educational programs for employees.  If you can&#039;t take that kind of a wide view, then as you say all you are really accomplishing are very short-term objectives.</description>
